Manchester United are in advanced talks with Athletic Bilbao for Aymeric Laporte. The Daily Star says a deal for Laporte to sign for Manchester United is "80 per cent done".

The Athletic Bilbao man looks set to make the move to Old Trafford in a bid to sure up the Red Devils' defence, as he has been touted as one of the best young defenders in the world.

He has become a mainstay in the Athletic defence and is set to be called up to the French national team.
