Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney says there's little chance of him curbing his all-action style.
United and England's main man admitted he had found it hard to change his all-or-nothing approach and become more disciplined about his positioning for the benefit of the team.
"Contributing all over the pitch is really important to me," Rooney told Inside United. "I think any footballer must want to be involved in the game as much as possible.
"That's why you play football - to be involved and be right in the thick of the action. That's definitely the way I am.
"I don't think I'll ever change. I'll always want to get stuck in. I know I've got responsibilities in my position, but I still want to be committed to the team.
"I do that because I want to win and sometimes I shouldn't probably do it. I should probably save my energy and stay up front, but that's just the way I've been brought up.
"I want to win and try to give everything to do that."
