Manchester United star Wayne Rooney faces a court date tomorrow.

The Sunday Mirror says Rooney will appear in court tomorrow to defend himself against a multi-million-pound lawsuit.

The Manchester United striker and his wife Coleen are being sued for more than £4million by the James Grant Group, the management company that represents top showbiz stars like Simon Cowell, Davina McCall and Ant and Dec.

The full details of the Rooneys' personal £35million fortune will be laid bare at the Manchester Mercantile Court when he appears in the witness box.

The case promises to be a sensational no-holds-barred battle - and has left Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson incensed.
