Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney faces the ref who refused to give him his debut hat-trick ball over five years ago.
In September 2004, Rooney marked his arrival on European football's biggest stage with a treble as United beat Fenerbahce 6-2 at Old Trafford.
As Rooney left the pitch, TV footage showed him asking official Frank de Bleeckere: "Can I have the ball?"
But the Belgian ref replied: "That's for me."
United boss Alex Ferguson then came to Rooney's rescue and, after a chat with de Bleeckere, presented the ball to his new signing.
Rooney said: "I couldn't believe it. The manager said 'What? I'm not having that' - and went to see the ref.
"The next thing I know he's back with the ball. I couldn't thank him enough."
