Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney is enjoying his partnership with Robin van Persie.
The pair linked up to great effect to haul United right back into the title mix with victory over Arsenal.
"I think that's the main thing for any forward," said Rooney. "You're trying to work together to score goals and create goals.
"It's great for the team if myself and Robin can create chances for each other and score goals that are helping us to win matches. It's really enjoyable for us as players to play that way. We're both creative players and I think that's why we're working well.
"We've started the season in good form, but we're always looking to be better on the pitch."
Asked if his partnership with van Persie was an instinctive thing or something that needed to be worked at, Rooney said: "It's a bit of both.
"We're both good enough players to adjust to any situation, really, whether you're playing high up or dropping deeper to get on the ball.
"But you have to remember we've also got Chicharito, who has been in good scoring form recently, and Danny Welbeck, who's also a big asset to the team.
"They also want to play and score goals for the team."
