Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney admits he found the man-management of former England coach Sven Goran Eriksson as "weird".

It was Eriksson who gave Rooney a first cap as a 17 year-old against Turkey.

Rooney said: "Sven was so relaxed it was weird.

"You were basically telling him what you wanted to do, but he was a good coach. He got us to two World Cup quarter-finals."
