Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney is desperate to win a trophy with England.
Rooney admits he'd happily swap any potential goalscoring records to taste glory with England.
Speaking to Sport magazine, he explained: "Some people talk about records, but I'm not really too fussed. I've always felt that, to be successful, you have to win trophies.
"I could end my career with England being record goal-scorer and maybe even record caps-holder, but if you're not going to be successful, then it's pointless.
"That's what I play for England for: to try and help England be successful. That's the aim. It's not to see how many caps or goals I can get - it's to see if I can get a winner's medal."
