Manchester United star Wayne Rooney is delighted for England teammate David Beckham after the LA Galaxy midfielder won cap No109 in victory over Slovakia last night.

The 33 year-old midfielder came on as a half-time substitute to earn his 109th cap and overtake Bobby Moore in the England record books.

Beckham demonstrated his legendary passing skills by delivering a pinpoint cross that man of the match Wayne Rooney headed home to score England's second.

Rooney said: "It's an unbelievable achievement. Everybody knows how much he's loved by the England fans."
