Manchester United ace Nani was proud to be part of Portugal's Euro2012 quarterfinal victory over the Czech Republic.

Nani saw Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo net the winner.

"I had a couple of chances, Cristiano did, and Almeida as well," said Nani.

"Finally Ronaldo scored a goal, we won the game and that's the most important thing. Everyone is happy, we're very satisfied with the result. Every game [as we progress] is going to be more difficult but it was a great performance by all the players tonight and the whole team is feeling very confident. Now we have to rest and prepare for the big match."

Ronaldo added: "I hit the post twice in the last game as well.

"But then I did score and we won. We're very happy, the team played very well and we are in the semi-finals. We're ready for the fight."
