Manchester United ace Henrikh Mkhitaryan has spoken since suffering his injury last night.

Mkhitaryan picked up a hamstring problem in last night's Europa League win against Saint-Etienne shortly after opening the scoring.

But the Armenia international, who would expected to be in United's XI on Sunday if fit, is still optimistic.

He tweeted: "Back in the country where I spent my childhood.

"So happy to have scored, but sad to have left the pitch that early.

"Fingers crossed."
