Man Utd ace Giggs fears for Wembley place after super-injunction outing

Manchester United ace Ryan Giggs fears for his place in the Champions League final team after his super-injunction outing yesterday in British Parliament. The Belfast Telegraph says sources within Manchester United say manager Sir Alex Ferguson is 'beside himself with anger' over the outing of Giggs yesterday.

And Giggs himself fears that the scandal will cost him his place in the United team for the Champions League final.

Ferguson has of course known for a long time that his most decorated player was the man behind the so-called superinjuction, - just like virtually everyone else in the UK.

But he was hoping nothing would break in the run-up to Saturday night's big showdown with Barcelona at Wembley.

British MP John Hemming identified Giggs in Parliament, saying: "With about 75,000 people having named Ryan Giggs on Twitter, it is obviously impracticable to imprison them all."
