Manchester United veteran Ryan Giggs says his new coaching role has given him a fresh lift this season.
Giggs, 40 tomorrow, played the full 90 in last night's victory at Bayer Leverkusen.
He told the Manchester Evening News: "I am enjoying the variety of doing some coaching now. The manager has been great with me. It is like starting all over again.
"Even though I have played for so long, I have never had an insight into backroom staff team meetings and the preparation for games and watching videos of matches. Even taking training sessions is a different ball game. It is a balancing act I am still working on but it is a challenge, another challenge!"
