Off contract Manchester City defender Hatem Trabesli's move to Le Mans has fallen through.

Trabelsi, who made 20 Premiership appearances following his arrival from Ajax last year, failed to agree personal terms.

"We decided to break off talks about signing Hatem Trabelsi," said a Le Mans spokesman.

"The coach and directors reckoned that the player's current situation did not fit in with the club's recruitment policy."
