Manchester City winger Shaun Wright-Phillips has revealed how Robinho takes the sting out of tense pre-match preparations.
SWP told the Daily Mail: "It's the same before every game. He puts on his show, the music is on and then our kit man Chappie [Les Chapman] will try and join in!
"The things Robbie can do with the ball are like nothing on the earth. Watching him control the ball is like watching water flow over his body. It's spell-binding. Me and Micah Richards just sit there and we're, like, what the hell is this?
"I mean we can all keep the ball up but if I did the type of things he did I would end up chasing the ball down the corridor to try to find it.
"When me and Micah were kids we were out on the street blasting the ball in to imaginary goals. It's obvious what Robbie was doing.
"What he does is great but it serves a proper purpose as well. It makes sure we're all relaxed. It'll be the same this weekend. It's just another game."
