Manchester City's move for Barcelona superstar Ronaldinho has stalled over details of his personal terms.

The News of the World says City have offered Ronaldinho a staggering £8.25m a year - but it still isn't enough to tempt him away from Barcelona.

Ronaldinho's current contract has two years to run and is worth a guaranteed £6.25m a year tax free.

City have offered him a deal worth £2m more - but the package depends on them winning the Premier League, a domestic cup or qualifying for the Champions League.

And after tax the 28-year-old Brazil international, who was said to be 'interested' in the challenge offered at Eastlands, would earn less than he does with Barcelona.
