Manchester City defender Micah Richards says he won't get "big headed" despite his success for club and country.
"When people are singing your praises it does give you a bit of confidence but when you come back you have to stay grounded," he told the MCFC podcast.
"You don't want to get too big for your boots. You come back (from international duty) and get back to work and go out and try to win for your club on a Saturday.
"My dad always says 'keep grounded'. Things could be going well now but tomorrow something else could happen. Everyone gets their chance in life so you enjoy it while you can."
