Man City's Onuoha accepts Noble England U21 captaincy

Manchester City defender Nedum Onuoha had no problem with West Ham midfielder Mark Noble being named captain for England U21's victory over Spain.

Coach Stuart Pearce handed the captaincy to Noble, despite Onuoha being vice-skipper to Steven Taylor during qualification.

"It's about consistency and continuity," Onuoha said. "Mark did an excellent job in the first game and rightly deserved to get it in the second."
