Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri feels their title triumph justifies his decision to quit Arsenal last summer.

Nasri, a summer signing from Arsenal, was thrilled to taste league success in his first season at the Etihad.

"It's the first time in my life I've won something like this - to be losing 2-1, to come back and score the winning goal to give us the title," he said.

"It's amazing and I'm really happy. I knew I made the right decision (coming here) and tonight I want to celebrate with all our fans, my family and my friends."
