Man City's Nasri frozen out by France

Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri has been frozen out of the France squad.

Nasri and Hatem Ben Arfa have been left out of the latest France squad by coach Didier Deschamps following their conduct at Euro 2012.

Both were summoned to a disciplinary hearing by the French Football Federation after separate Euro 2012 incidents in which Manchester City's Nasri abused a journalist and Newcastle United's Ben Arfa had a changing room altercation with Deschamps.

Both were absent from the 22-man party named for a friendly against Uruguay on August 15. Manchester United defender Patrice Evra is in the squad but Newcastle's Yohan Cabaye is not.
