Manchester City midfielder James Milner could join rivals Liverpool at the end of the season.
Despite flying under the radar, there is no doubting the fact that Milner is a quality player and he has been crucial to City's rise to prominence as a footballing powerhouse over the last few years.
However, the largely underappreciated midfielder looks set for an exit from City as he has not yet signed an extension to his current deal at the Etihad Stadium which expires at the end of the season.
A host of clubs are closely monitoring Milner's contractual situation and now according to reports from the Daily Mirror, Liverpool are planning to snap up the 29-year old on a free transfer as a replacement for the outgoing Steven Gerrard.
