Aberdeen boss Mark McGhee has invited Manchester City midfielder Paul Marshall back for a second week on trial. The 19 year old spent last week at Pittodrie, with McGhee confirming he had been impressed by what he saw.

He said in the Evening Express: "The fact that Marshall is still here says it all, and I will continue to assess him."

Marshall has also expressed his desire to join the Dons, saying last week: "I want to sign for Aberdeen because it is virtually impossible to break into the City team with the kind of money the club is spending."
