Manchester City defender Vincent Kompany has dismissed the prospect of facing Liverpool's all-star line-up.

"Look, I've played against Zidane," said Kompany. "I could give you many, many names of opponents I've faced that would make you understand that, for me, this is just another game.

"And I'm very confident in myself and my team-mates. I'm happy to be surrounded by a team like this."
