Manchester City midfielder Michael Johnson admits he's desperate to shake off injury and play a part in Mark Hughes' new-look team.
Johnson admitted, "It's exciting times" at the Club.
As new summer arrivals have raised the competition level amongst Mark Hughes' squad, Johnson has been impressed with what he's seen, pointing to: "The skills, footballing ability and the work rate," of his new team mates.
He told City's website: "Some people might not think of Robinho working hard, but he puts great effort in on the pitch, like the rest of us. That's what you need to have a good team."
