Manchester City striker Ashley Grimes struck twice for the reserves in their 2-1 defeat of Bolton Wanderers last night.
A host of scouts from the Championship saw Grimes impress, along with City teammates Nedum Onuoha and Joe Hart in the hard-fought win.
City boss Sven-Goran Eriksson, plus assistants Hans Backe and Derek Fazackerley were also in attendance and a delegation from the Thai national side looked on with interest.
