Manchester City midfield ace Elano accepts he's becoming a marked man in the Premiership.

"I don't worry about that," Elano told City's website. "It's natural in football. Every team has one player who tends to be marked more, but I'm a professional and I know that that is going to happen. We work towards that in training so it's fine, I have no problems with that.

"It's going to be hard because the top four go into the Champions League, then after that it could be very close between the next few teams. There might only be a point's difference between coming fifth and ending anywhere down to tenth place.

"I'm working hard and I think we could get there, but I don't want to put a number on how many goals I'll get. My aim is just to get as many as I can, because that will be good for myself, for the team but for the supporters as well."
