Man City's Dunne admits suspension frustration

Manchester City captain Richard Dunne admits he's frustrated over being suspended for the season kickoff.

"It's frustrating to miss these first two games because of what happened at Middlesbrough," Dunne told City's website. "The team has got to get back to top form for when I'm back and when Jo comes back from the Olympics as well.

"I've been fortunate in that we have had the UEFA Cup games as well in pre-season this year. I've always had something to look forward to despite missing the first two league games, we have had the European games and I have the Republic of Ireland international as well, so I have not missed out in terms of my fitness.

"Missing the league games is a frustration, but my preparation has not really changed that much. Training has been really enjoyable, the Manager insists that training is as intense as a game, every day has been really tough and fast, but it's been very enjoyable."
