Blackpool boss Simon Grayson is ready to sign on-loan Manchester City striker Paul Dickov permanently.

Dickov struck a hat-trick in Saturday's 5-3 victory over Charlton and Grayson beamed: "He puts defenders under pressure and is known as a pest throughout football.

"All the players here are looking up to him.

"His contract is up at the summer and he is glad to be playing again after a frustrating couple of years.

"He is in good shape and looks better than I did when I was 35. He has a couple of seasons left in him."
