Manchester City boss Sven-Goran Eriksson has revealed that his Bulgarian striker, Valeri Bojinov, is now only about two weeks away from returning to full training.
The summer signing from Fiorentina, 21-year-old Bulgaria international striker Valeri Bojinov, ruptured his knee ligaments early in the season, having only made three appearances for Sven-Goran Eriksson's side before suffering the injury.
Eriksson said of the Bulgarian: "He is taking part in training but cannot have the contact yet. He will be able to join in full training about January 20 - and that is one month ahead of what we thought.
"It is like having a new signing. He is quick, very strong, explosive with good technique and I can promise you a very hungry footballer.
"He wants to be successful at Manchester City. He has been working very hard to get back."
