Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli is expected to be fit for Italy's World Cup qualifier with Denmark.

He was meant to start against Armenia on Friday evening, but pulled out due to a heavy cold and high temperature.

"It was a positive test for Balotelli and today he started the road to recovery. He needs to get back some strength, but it is all going fairly well," explained team doctor Enrico Castellacci.
