Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero says he would've signed for Real Madrid - if they'd made an offer for him.

City signed the former Atletico Madrid striker as Real dithered over making a bid.

"If Real Madrid had been interested, I would be here. I had no choice but to go to City," he told AS.

"Right now I play for City and do not think about anything else."

Later last night, Aguero denied making the comments on Twitter.
