Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor has rejected a move to Turkey.
The People says Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp's hopes of signing centre forward Adebayor have been boosted after the striker, who spent last season on loan from City, rejected a £5m-a-year move to Galatasaray.
Adebayor tweeted yesterday that he was in talks with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy about a permanent deal.
