Manchester City's Alex Henshall is currently on trial with Scottish side St Johnstone.

The 19-year old winger will spend a week with the Perth club and if he impresses manager Tommy Wright, will be offered a loan deal.

"Alex has joined us for a week so we can get a look at him. We'd be looking at a loan deal if things work out," said Wright.

Henshall, who joined City in 2010 after spending time at Swindon Town, had a loan stint with Chesterfield earlier this year.
