Man City youngster Guidetti calm on FC Twente link

Manchester City striker John Guidetti is remaining calm about recent reports linking him with Dutch club FC Twente.

The 19-year old Swede is out of contract at the City of Manchester Stadium but has been offered a new deal by the club, however, it is unknown if he will accept.

Guidetti has plenty of interest from Twente but he is clear that no deal has yet been struck.

"I don't have that much knowledge about that," he told Fotbollskanalen. "There are other people that take care of all that.

"I focus on scoring goals on the pitch, and the rest will sort itself."

For now though, Guidetti will head back to Sweden to train at the headquarters of the FA until his future is sorted.

"Well, the transfer window shuts when it shuts - hopefully it'll be before that," he added.

"I don't know what I will do. I think I will train at Boson (the Swedish FA's training base)."
