Manchester City midfielder Jack Byrne is making his mark in the UEFA Youth League.
Byrne struck in victory over Schalke on Tuesday, which was decided by a penalty shootout.
His sixth goal in seven games put City on their way to victory, and also moved him to third in the competition scoring charts with only Chelsea's Dom Solanke and Real Madrid's Borja Mayoral - both forwards - ahead of him.
The Irishman told the Manchester Evening News: "Long may it continue!
"I'm just delighted I could help the team, and delighted I'm playing to be honest because we've got an unbelievable squad and an unbelievable team so it's great to play for Man City and represent them in this competition."
