Drogba is out of contract after leaving Galatasaray last season.
The 36-year-old is reportedly in talks with Chelsea over a return to Stamford Bridge. City have also been linked with Drogba after Alvaro Negredo's metatarsal injury.
However, the Daily Express says a move for Drogba is NOT being considered.
