Manchester City first team coach David Platt insists the club will not relax in the lead-up to the FA Cup final next month.
The reigning Premier League champions take on relegation battlers Wigan Athletic at Wembley on May 11 and Platt has made it clear that there will no stone left unturned as they look to bring one piece of silverware back to the Etihad Stadium this season.
"Rather than dramatising the situation, it is about finishing the season as strongly as we can do," Platt said ahead of the Premier League clash with the Latics on Wednesday night.
"You would probably put money on us finishing second now and hopefully we will win the FA Cup. But we still have to play a good team and anything can happen in the final.
"We have our own expectations and our own expectations are very high."
