Man City won't compete with Everton, Southampton for Mooy

Manchester City have no plans to trigger a buy-back option in Aaron Mooy's deal at Huddersfield Town.

The Australia midfielder has had an impressive World Cup for the Socceroos, sparking speculation that he might get a move from Huddersfield Town, reports the Manchester Evening News.

But City are not about to move for a player they sold to the Terriers last summer in a deal worth £10million.

City brought Mooy in from sister club Melbourne City in 2016, although he never actually linked up with the first team.

Mooy is said to be the subject of potential £18million bids from Everton and Southampton.
