Manchester City winger Vladimir Weiss is interesting Newcastle United.
The Evening Chronicle says United boss Chris Hughton had the 20-year-old on a long list of options in January during the transfer window, but the Bratislavan opted to join Owen Coyle at Bolton Wanderers instead, making 13 appearances for the Trotters.
However, with Hughton already declaring that he will look to use the loan system to Newcastle's advantage in the new season, Weiss is again a possibility when the loan market takes shape in August.
Toon chief scout Graham Carr will know about Weiss from his time at Eastlands as talent-spotter, and Hughton could not get a better reference for the Slovakian international if he was to opt for a move.
