Manchester City winger Oleksandr Zinchenko is keen to duck the hype over his impact at PSV Eindhoven.

Before joining PSV on-loan for the season, Zinchenko was regarded as the 'Messi of Ukraine' - and only this week was likened to the Barcelona star by the Dutch media.

"I see it in the press and let it pass me by, I paid no attention to it. It leads to just wondering. And with the press it is always the same: one day you are great, the other day you are nothing like that," he told NOS.

"I have played for years as a winger and I am grateful to all my coaches who have played me in several positions.

"Therefore I am an all-rounder."
