Manchester City winger Jesus Navas insists Spain deserved World Cup qualification after victory over Georgia.
The reigning world and European champions only needed a point to be sure of winning Group I ahead of France and goals in either half from Alvaro Negredo and Juan Mata assured them of all three against Georgia in Albacete.
Navas told AS: "We went out looking for the win. Any opponent looks to make it difficult for you and the team have stayed calm. The team have deserved it.
"We had to be very focused throughout the game and keep our heads. We've gone out with a very good attitude and it was important to go for the win."
