Manchester City winger Jesus Navas' return to Sevilla has stalled.

Off contract next week, Navas has been in extensive negotiations with Sevilla about a Bosman move return home.

However, Don Balon says the switch is close to collapse, with Sevilla refusing to meet Navas' €3 million-a-year contract demands.

Navas has been informed such terms are well beyond Sevilla's budget.

Further complicating the issue is Sevilla's deal for Inter Milan midfielder Ever Banega, which could see the LaLiga outfit pass on their former star.
