Manchester City are ready to wind-up neighbours Manchester United by moving for Bayern Munich striker Ivica Olic.
Olic struck decisive goals in both legs of Bayern's Champions League triumph over United.
The Daily Mail says City are blessed with good attacking options but they will overhaul their squad this summer and some star names will be sacrificed for players deemed to have better attitude and work ethic.
Olic fits the bill and Bayern would be willing to listen to offers of around £6m. He joined on a free transfer from Hamburg in 2009 and signed a three year contract but Bayern want to attract bigger names and will need to raise revenue to pay the fees and wages required.
Olic, like Carlos Tevez, would be an instant favourite at Eastlands and would fit in easily with his selfless attitude.
