Manchester City intend to bid for Fiorentina attacker Stevan Jovetic in January.The Sun says City are plotting a fresh move for £25million Jovetic.

The champions tried to land the Montenegrin at the same time as sealing the £11million deal which took defender Matija Nastasic to the Etihad Stadium in the summer.

They were knocked back then as Jovetic, 22, wanted more time to consider the deadline-day offer.

Yet Italian sources insist both the player and his club would be willing to listen to new offers in January.
