Man City willing to cover Johnson wages for Leeds move

Leeds United remain keen on Manchester City midfielder Michael Johnson.

The Daily Mail says City may be prepared to subsidise Johnson's proposed loan switch to Leeds with Simon Grayson keen to take the young midfielder following his return to fitness.

West Ham United were also linked with Johnson this week, but that has been shot down by club officials.

Johnson is now fully fit after almost two years on the sidelines battling a variety of injury complaints.
