Manchester City are standing by manager Roberto Mancini.

Even if they finish the season potless, City will stick with the Italian.

A City insider told the Sunday Mirror: "There is still a belief that Roberto can deliver the title this season.

"There is no appetite whatsoever to change the manager - even if we don't finish as ­champions - and that is unlikely to change unless there is a catastrophic end to the season."
