Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero took to Twitter to declare that his club is not ready to surrender in the Champions League after a disappointing 2-1 defeat to Juventus.
The 27-year-old was an injury doubt before the game and although he managed to make a substitute appearance from the bench in the 83rd minute, was unable to avert the defeat.
It was a discouraging result for City but Argentine ace Aguero was not letting just one defeat get in the way of their European target this season.
This wasn't how we'd have wanted to start off. But this team never surrenders. There's more to play and we'll pull ahead.
