Man City will fight to retain title - Pellegrini

Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini is determined to keep continue fighting for the Premier League title until the last game of the season.

A win against Crystal Palace on Monday will see City move to within six points of leaders Chelsea but the Chilean admits they must now be wary of both Arsenal and Manchester United who have moved ahead of them following wins on the weekend.

"We are not thinking about just one team. I think it is important for our team to finish at the top of the table but if we can't win the Premier League then we must try to be second," he said.

"But it is important to play from now until the end of the season in a way that shows you are an important team and are prepared to fight until the last game to try and retain the title."
