Man City will be 'bigger, stronger' next season – Gabriel Jesus

Gabriel Jesus says Manchester City will come back 'bigger and 'stronger' next season.

In their first season under Pep Guardiola, the Citizens finished in third place but failed to win any trophies - the first time that has happened in Guardiola's career.

And the Brazilian, who scored 7 goals for City since joining from Palmeiras in January, is adamant the club can bounce back and claim some silverware next season.

"We are a little bit disappointed we couldn't fight for the trophy at the end, we are really looking forward to next season," said Jesus via Sky Sports.

"We achieved qualification for the Champions League, this team is still growing and changing and hopefully next season we will be stronger, better and be able to achieve trophies.

"That is the goal of this club."
