Manchester City have seen a move for Borussia Dortmund defender Marc Bartra stall.
It's been revealed City were confident of signing the former Barcelona stopper some weeks ago after holding negotiations.
The talks were held prior to the bomb attack on BVB's team bus, where Bartra suffered a seriously injured wrist.
Don Balon says the defender was ready to move to City this summer, however after the bombing and the reaction of BVB fans, Bartra is having a rethink.
The stopper now feels closer to BVB fans and is ready to resist the City offer, despite it being superior to what he is earning in Dortmund.
