Manchester City are closing in on a deal for Valencia midfielder Pablo Hernandez.

The Daily Mail says Valencia are ready to do a deal with Manchester City for Spain winger Hernandez this week.

Hernandez, who has two Spain caps, did not make the trip to South Africa.

Hernandez, 25, could move within days if City formalise their interest with a concrete bid.
